Danescroft have entered into a planning promotion agreement with Southern Gas Networks (SGN) for the delivery of this complex brownfield opportunity.

The site comprises a redundant gasholder and depot and sits adjacent to a site on which we previously obtained planning consent for 192 houses and apartments and sold to Bellway.

The objective is to maximise the property value through a combination of optimising the site potential, minimising enabling costs, and then working with SGN to package up and dispose of the site following the decommissioning of redundant gas infrastructure and site remediation.

Following extensive public and stakeholder consultations, a detailed planning application has been prepared for 130 apartments.
