Local Centres

The Central Park Rugby Local Centre was completed in 2008 under a development Agreement with Aldi Stores Limited. Comprising 7 retail units and 24 residential apartments. All residential units were sold and only one retail unit remains.

Two further local centres at Maidstone and Trowbridge were also completed in joint venture with Persimmon Homes. Danescroft entered into forward commitments to purchase the shell retail accommodation taking the letting and onward sale risk away from the housebuilders. Our detailed knowledge of the sector has enabled lettings to be completed to Tesco Express, Ladbrokes, Domino’s Pizza and Subway Realty as well as a range of local and other retailers.

Further joint venture/underwriting opportunities are being persued.
